Founded in 2020

“Coming back from a wedding, I was sitting on 5,000 photos, making the same choices over and over - Which one’s in focus? Who has their eyes open? I thought, surely this can be automated. Enter Harshit: a genius asking photographers how AI could help. A match made in heaven.”

How It Started

The first version? It was bad. But the potential was huge.
I knew we had something the moment I saw jaws drop during our first WPPI demo.

From a single Facebook post in 2019 to our first culling prototype, Aftershoot grew fast - powered by curiosity, community. We didn’t have a polished office. We had Zoom calls at midnight, scrappy designs, and a big idea: photographers deserve better tools.
